Created in 1958 by sculptors Amerigo Brioschi and Carlo Brioschi, this sculpture of former Minnesota governor Floyd B. Olson stands in the shadow of the Minnesota State Capitol. The sculpture is life size or larger and Olson is pointing, almost wagging his finger at the State Office Building across the street. The sculpture was dedicated on Labor Day in 1958 as a part of Minnesota’s centennial celebration.
An identical sculpture is in Minneapolis at Olson Memorial Highway.
